| hi TSLakshmi... problem you faced is very common now a days...if we dont understand then repairing people take our good genuine hardware and complain some rubbish problem...then they take money from us to replace our best hardware with their bogus inferior quality material...you have to be very alert...when we use to get some problem like this we never call local people we use to call agency from where we took or if you are at different place call dealers their...and most important you have to be present when they do repairing if they replace you ask for the reason if you can understand its ok if you dont understand consult somebody...but dont leave your sysetem wiht local repairers...they will take all genuine parts leaving outer cover...this is very much in practice...i think he replaced your systems RAM too..now be careful and ask your son to advice some dealers to whom you can consult if he is not present their.. |

| Dear Seethalakshmi, I feel so sorry; for such a bad experience you had with the local tech guy...But from what you have said above, seems like they are not qualified to be called as technicians at all...if they dunt know what is to be done.Worst is when they encounter people who have limited knowledge with the systems. My parents had a bad experience lik you! The guy took(stole) away a SDR RAM (memory) with him.. But i have had positive experience twice with techinicians. They just did magic...i must say magic..coz being an IT profeesional myself(and hubby too).. we were too good only with the softwares and hardware trouble shooting was always a bit hard...The techinican(real techie) just glanced at the wirings done and altered a few.He changed a little bit of configuration and lo.. we were done.. I was really amazing!!

They remove the most of the RAM.I am not known the technical words. There is very rare trust worthy people. We could not find them easily. tsseethalakshmi |
