| Hey ladies, I love cooking, but just don't like to cut the veggies. I find it the most time consuming and by the time i cut them, i would have spent half my time and energy and then have to rush thro with my receipe. I know you do get cut veggies in the supermarket, but then when you like to buy fresh and also for each dish you need to cut them a little differently. Anybody in the same boat? lets just talk about it..... And yes please share the brands of food processors or vegg cutters in the indian market too... rgds ammvin |

| the super slicer is very good especially for cutting cabbages and onions for stir fry stuff, and of course onions in a jiffy, which is very fast, sometime even after i have added oil in kadai i finish this and add...even the sabji aloo, and if you want beans just tie it together with a rubber band and hold together they come out pretty thin...sunkan

| Hello, I love cutting veggies. For me the cabbage has to be cut as thin slices, the chow chow as fine pieces. This is one time I go into my own world .My husband well acquainted with my idiosynchrasies never talks to me while I am cutting veggies for fear I cut my fingers. My mother used to tell me that my father loved cutting veggies so much that after he finished cutting veggies he would offer to cut veggies for his neighbours as well much to thr irritation of my mother. Now my SIL's husband does this job for his family. He gets up early in the morning, has his coffee and then there he is cutting veggies. He considers it his sacred duty,he would not budge from that place till he finished cutting veggies. If you think that my SIL must be pleased with her husband for this, you are mistaken. My sil and her sons are usually an irritated lot on this score because in his enthusiasm to show his expertise in the art of cutting veggies fine he invariably chooses the veggies they least like, foe eg beetroot. If anybody else overtakes him and finish cutting veg before he enters the kitchen, the roof would come down.Such is his devotion for this divine art form!. so much for veggie cutting,my dear and somebody would have thought that it is as simple as cutting veggies, sorry as sweeping floor.. mithila kannan

| hi, I too love to cut vegetables and i cut vegetables very fast.Specially i love to cut cabbages(very fine). My inlaws family is a very big one.So for any function,we will all join and cook.As i do it very fast, i will be given the job of cutting vegetables. But i do it with knife only.i don't know to cut with aruvaamanai. |

| Hi Aamvin, Somehow i would prefer cutting the vegetables by hand..I cut the vegetables listening to some good music or while watching the TV..so we wouldn't feel the stress. I find cutting by knife is more convenient when compared with arivaalmanai. |
