Btw, it was fun to read all the experiences, and turns out (going by these posts), men in general take longer than women to get ready!

You did not invite the men in the discussions, but i am a shameless fellow, so i have entered without permissionm.So here goes.

Wife takes long, i am a fast guy.i can do without bath or shave, or brush sometimes if something has to be done.

What men do inside the bathroo,? thisis one place that is most private to men,rather everyone.

Ashok kumar the actor uised to take two hours in the loo.He said, he likes to paint in the nude.Thisis true no jokes.

Me, well when i sit on the pot, i get ideas for blogs.As i have said before

" WHEN THE SHIT COMETH DOWN, THE THOUGHTS COMETH IN"

My best blogs are born on the pot.No wonder they stink sometimes.

I read the paper, and smoke.And it is very peaceful really. i sometimes wonder i should have a lap top installed in the loo where i can blog while i am doing my other job.Very soom i may, and then i may spend a hour replying at indus, and u will neer come to know the place from where the replies are coming from.

I guess, I am also in the same boat.
My husband takes time in getting ready. Its usually 20-25 mins for me to take bath, dress up and I am out.
And same thing goes with my in-laws too.....

I join hands with u in this...My hubby takes a lot of time to get ready than me.Really we people are lucky in some way.There is no one to yell or shout at us if we get ready late.
When i lose my patience is ,when we go for shopping clothes,he takes hours and hours but still comes out without selecting one...
I used to get laugh sometimes when I hear the most popular sentence from the other gender(Ladies never come out if they go inside a shop)...and wonder how its opposite in our house.But after reading this thread I thought I have many to join with...

There are various jokes and stories related to how women take hours to get dressed up..and hubby's going crazy on waiting..Me and my hubby are like poles in this context.Guess what..he takes longer time and makes me frustrated.. I take not more than 25 mts to get ready from scratch(bath,brush etc) and 5-10 mts for a quick outing.All my family members belong to this category.It was a shock when i found every body in my in-laws place takes a minimum of 1 hr to get dressed.. .. Once some one gets into the bathroom..there remains aboslute silence until they come out.. and from there furthur process of dressing starts..i used to wonder what they do inside for so long..of course i know what happens inside..
Till now its an unsolved mystery..so come on Ladies.. those of u who belong to jiffy category come out with u r thought and those not pen u r opinions..Its all in purely lighter note..

I belong to ur category! So whether its party or shopping, office or just for a walk, there I am, all ready and waiting for hubby to get dressed! It amazes me that men take much more time than women! Till I got married, I was under the impression that its the woman who takes time to spruce up! Bu I guess I was wrong!

Hi hasita and ANK..yeah ..on reading all posts..we can figure out who takes more time..scenario has changed from women taking more time..to men.

i was getting ready slow before marriage. my hubby is mostly on time for anywhere we go (to the extent as he will be about to leave me if i don't get ready during our initial days of marriage), but now i will be ready before the time given to leave :)
