Dear Devika,

This is a subject very dear to my heart because I believe in Women being the stronger sex rather than the weaker one. I always feel that women has to stand up for herself first and should not allow others to treat her like a doormat.

A real wonderful story. Great Devika..............keep more coming like this. Just wished to add, if women really become strong like this...........

Dear Rajmi,

Hats off to your grand mother in law. A very courageous lady to have brought up a kid single handed , in those times when things were more difficult than they are now. Kudos to her
I truly admire courageous women . And I hope we all can muster up enough courage to fight atrocities inflicted on women.
Thanks a lot for writing in. Glad you liked the story!

Love,
Devika

In today's world, I really pray that more and more woman are given strength to face the world with great courage and rational thinking.

Dear Lalitha,

Your words truly second my husbands feelings. He always says that Women are stronger than Men in all the important aspects of life and physical strength comes the last when compared to emotional strength, psychological strength and power of patience and perseverance!
Yes Women should never let others treat her like a doormat . Theres is no need to be recessive. Infact the more you let others take you for a ride , the more others will take your back for a ride.
I am glad you liked the story. I definitely tried to put across the message of the strength of a woman for all.
Love,
Devika

Hey Ranjeeta,

Youre from my hubby's land. He's from Muscat too but now with me here!

Love,
Devika

Hi Devika,
That was a very touching story....
It shows again & again that women are indeed stronger than men.
I liked the climax very much .....
