Dear Vanaja,

These flowers have a beautiful fragrance and they bloom only in the night and droops down by the first rays of sunlight. Hence the name Night Queen. Normally the season is June/ July. Now my plant has almost 20 buds and I am wishing that they all bloom together. If that happens I will surely post the photograph here.

It can be cultivated with the help of a cutting. You can get it from good nursery.

Hi Vanaja,

It was so nice to you to share your experiences about the holy plant.

Tulsi unlike others plants grows at a quick pace if one's heart is pure.

Elders say that if we put kolam and recite slokas (meant for the plant) in front of tulasi, she would bless us with all the good things in life.

Dear Vanaja,

I have asimilar topic to narrate, When i came to US i was longing For a Tulsi Plant . I tried every other nursery but couldn't get it. So one day during my Prayers i prayed to god that i want to worship Tulsi and he needs to get me one.

To My surprise i got 2 Tulsi Plants from some distant Friend and that too one Was Rama Tulasi and the Other a Krishna Tulasi. I was So happy and we took extreme care and with devotion Started watering those plants. And i started getting more and more Tulasi plants and i have in total 6 plants now, i feel so blessed to have them.

Now my Paryers are to gaurd them and take care proper care of them.

cheers
vaidehi
