Dear AC,

Thanks for the reply.

I have read many of your posts in Gardening, especially about the Rose plants. You have shared your intense knowledge of gardening. Surely, I shall participate in gardening forum, but I may land up only in asking questions. Because I have tones of doubts to be cleared. Are you ready?

Dear Mithila,

Thanks for the reply and comments. Even I am moved with the prayers of your SIL. That was a beautiful prayer without much greed.

I shall keep this in mind whenever I come across a big tree. Yes, God lives everywhere only to guide us wherever we go.

Hi Puni,

That was good to know. You are running a nursery especially for Tulsi plants. Lots of punyam to you and your mom.

do post us some pictures of your Tulasi...
Dear Slp,

Thanks for the reply. Yes, Perumal Koil Theertham gives you a relishing taste and children loves the theertham. You can see kids asking for more theertham in the Sannadhi.

she used to do wedding to the Tulsi plant.
When we were in New jersey I purchased a Tulsi plant which is only 3 inches high
from a temple. I maintained it indoors only in a pot. I kept it near the window.
It brought me some good vibrations. My husband used to keep away when I was on
periods. When we moved it grew to one feet, but I have given it to my neighbour there
with heavy heart, as we cannot transport live plants. All the way to our new place
I was thinking of the Tulsi plant. Thanks Vanaja for bringing back my memories.
Hello Vidyalakshmi,

I made you feel nostalgic, thanks for the reply. Wedding to Tulsi Plants is common in some villages. But do not know the details and significance.

If you have given it to the safe hands, please do not worry. That is the only thing we need to take care of when we are departing with our plants.

Dear Sriniketan,

Thanks for the reply. So this thread of mine had reminded you of the Tulsi seeds. Try to plant it and get the blessings and joy of growing her.

Hi Vanaja,

We have one tulsi plant in front of our house and 2 or 3 more on our terrace, my husband takes care of all the plants and daily we worship to tulsi plant. We have both the green and the blue one i think the blue tulsi is known as krishna tulsi. But next to tulsi my DH has kept one more plant "SEMI", i dont know what is that he says it is good to keep semi next to tulsi. Do you have any idea? I think this plant should be worshiped on every saturdays.
