Dear Mithila,
But for the finest post nomination I would have missed this post completely. You have a way with the words. And you have written in a very natural way. Being born in an iyengar family and married into another iyengar's family (and that too a kind of love marriage) I can visualise all the situations you have described in your post.
You should write more, Mithila.
regards,

Dear Sir,
I have no words to thank you for those kind words.I enjoy creating characters and live in my own world with them much to the chagrin of my daughters. They would be relating to me something and I would be sitting there with a lost expression on my face.I know it is not a good thing but thats what I am.
Thank you once again.

Dear mithili,
Wonderful write up.I especially enjoyed the innocence of rama’s sil and his friend’s reaction to her innocence.Well the secret of raman accepting the proposal is unknown. It is very rare that son in law and father in law have a mutual bonding of love and affection. The highlight of the entire post was rama’s grand son being named as kuppuswamy.

Thanks for sharing...

Mithila,

Your narration style is really awesome. It reminds me of the fun I used to have reading R.K. Narayan who is my most favourite narrator anyday. Finally it is all about no big thing, but you keep the reader focussed, enjoying the situation as though one were actually part of it and laugh it out with the great sense of humor ! And not to mention, we imagine Raman or Nirmala or kutti kuppa as someone close to us :) If we neither scroll up on how much we have read, nor scroll down to see how much is remaining, I think that is an article that beholds our interest and your style demands an applause of that nature.

Great work ! Good luck and keep those snippets coming in.

Gayu
