Default The Heart Have Eyes Too

Recently met a friend after long time. So tried to catch up with what was going on. She recently had made a trip to India and visited many religious places and temples. She told me what happened when she visited Thiruchendur. It is her favorite temple and Murugan her favorite diety. So she made a few visits there to see Lord Muruga. On one such visit when she was coming out of the temple with her niece they saw a Baby Elephant standing right outside. Baby means real baby.. like maybe a few weeks old. It was ofcourse the centre of attention with everyone gathering around to see the baby with mother closeby too.
My friend found out from someone that is was a baby boy elephant. As she kept looking at the baby something touched her heart and she felt at peace. I need to tell here that my friend has a son and daughter. Both married. Son has 2 kids and daughter after 5 years of marraige has none. Ofcourse my friend has worried, panicked and prayed and finally given up that her daughter would have a child. So looking at the baby elephant her thoughts ran thru all this but for some reason her mind felt totally at peace.
When she came back home Good news awaited her. Daughter had conceived and so did dil too. My friend told me I felt this news in my heart as I stood gazing at the baby elephant. Now she is looking forward to 2 grand baby boys going to be born quite soon. I was happy for her and enjoyed her narration of this incident. This title was her choice of words only. Thara I dedicate this to you.
If anyone has any such story do share:)

Dear Anandchitra,

IT was so wonderful to read the experience of Thara. In fact the title is so very apt.
It lovely for her to experience her grandmotherly instincts taking a whole new turn and good news awaiting her. Probably according to me Lord Ganesha blessed her with her grandkids. We all know the strength and power of God and is overwhelming to experience it.!
A very nice interesting post Anand Chitra.

Love,
Devika

Dear AC,
That must have been such a heartwarming experience to watch a new born elephant.
Congrats to Thara, God could not have given her more reason to rejoice.
He has ways to shower his blessings.

Dear AC,

That was a touching experience to Thara. Best wishes to her and family.

A nice writeup which made me being in Thara's shoes to feel her joy.

Once, my uncle(chithappa) called to say that he fell down out of dizziness near the grinder. He escaped a big hit. My grandma told that her stomach felt that trouble and whenever she thought of chithappa on that day from the morning she kept feeling that.

to the motherly instinct....
