Being in India, we never experience any seasons.
That's the only part I missed.
Its all happening due to global warming.

Welcome spring....
Holidays for the kids ...the next 7 days +4 days (Sat.Sun)...at home, maybe the sign of spring...

Cleaning is always there.. but we do in the name of spring...

One snowfall is due anyway whether it is light or heavy, always happens that after that official announcement of the spring arrival...there will be one shot..

Yup... cleaning is always there.
But excited to go out, do garden cleaning, put back all patio chairs/tables etc.

Hi IL,

Spring has officially arrived and so has the SPRING BREAK for the kids!

They are raring to go out and play....a big break for the vdo games too!!
YIPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flowers are blooming everywhere in white, pink, purple, red and yellow!
Mornings and afternoons are pleasant, but becomes nippy in the evenings and night.
Being in Central Virginia, we did not have much snow but sure had a very cold winter!
Somehow, it is wonderful to experience all the seasons.
When we were in Northern California, we did not get any snow there...only snow was on the mountains.
Here, though we experience snow, touch wood...it is definitely not as bad as in parts of North east. That way we are surely lucky!!

It is an awesome experience to have veggie puffs/pakoras with coffee/tea during the winter.
At the same time, feels energetic and brisk to go for walks and have fun in the patio with salads and cold drinks during the spring and summer!

WELCOME TO SPRING ONCE AGAIN!!

Kaalangalil Aval vasantham......

Cheers,
Jithiks(Krithika)

Yes Nandhu, even though we enjoyed the winter, we were waiting for the SPRING to start this year.

Kids are also soooo happy riding bikes, playing baseball and having fun at the park.

Lovely to go on long walks in the neighborhood....makes us feel really good and such an awesome feeling!

Especially, it is a big break for the XBOX and Play station @ home!

Cheers,
Jithiks(Krithika)

Hi all!

It's so nice to read about your "wait" to see sun shine and flowers bloom... it's like the saying which goes ...'nizhalin arumai veyilil theriyum'...

Here , in Hyderabad, right now, it is pouring cat-and-dogs, due to a depression in the bay of bengal... but we are happy that we are being spared from some dry-hot weather...

Cheers!
