I too have such experiences ...but they are not very common though (Thankfully). But, I used to put them under the term 'premonition' rather than ESP.

Is there any difference between these two? I had a cursory look into the other thread on premonition by malspie as well...

I just stepped and happened to see ur post. I am copying and pasting Shanvy's reply from next page where she very clearly clarifies ALL the differences. (hope nobody minds me butting in:)

ESP or extrasensory perception is perception occurring independently of sight, hearing, or other sensory processes. And not all of the person's having ESP's can be classified as psychics.

Precognition is common. Usually it pinpoints a dramatic event in someone's own life or in the life of a loved one .

A premonition is a feeling about something to happen in a specific way without any details given. there are long term and short term feelings.

Dowsing - this is an talent. All of must be aware of people who could trace water tables and treasures. this talent is called dowsing and these people are called dowsers. Once I had the opportunity of seeing a old man, just taking a stick and circling a field. after sometime, he came to a point, and put his stick there, and asked people to dig a well there..and there was a good source of water.

Dejv Vu, -. We sometimes meet person, or places which give a feeling that we have met or seen before. A feeling of Deja Vu.

There are pyschic who use these talents to trace lost items, lost people and also details about murder and all.

Just hit on this thread and was about to tell you 'Shanvy is the best person " for a perfect reply. In fact, I befriended her through my thread for which she has given a link. I have seen my friend going through ups and downs in her head coz of these ESP's.
