Women's day-A tribute

Hi ILites

Happy women's day to the indomitable spirit of a woman.

A woman who undergoes pain to create another life, a woman who can be shakti, kali durga, Annapurna ......(list goes on) depending on the situation.

But i am sad, WHY? Becuase women's day reminds me of the pathetic condition of many women throughout the world, that's why we need a day to remind the world that women exist.

I shall be happy when we will not need a special day to remind the world to take a note of the existence of woman and jot down plans to fight for their cause. That will be the day when women will be truly empowered.

As a tribute to the indomitable of spirirt of a common woman( derived from common man) amongst us, I take you to the blog of thiis unknown women who wites for the cause of women and above all for the greater cause of humanity. I to all such unknown women who continue to silently contribute to making world a better place to live. I don't know anything about this lady, but i know that she is a woman of substance.

Do read her "self-sufficient" post, it reflects the need for transformation in woman of today

Lovely post, talks about the strength of the woman. I appreciate your effort.
Women once so prejudiced are now doing wonderfully well in all spheres, Infact in most there are the preferred gender. I enjoy a lot of attention and respect while at work and where once these kinda of treatment was relatively nonexistant.

Its all basically what you want to do in life. Do you want to be a Dookhiyar Nari or you want to be a Woman of Substance. Because no one can stifle your passion until you have given them the permission to do so.

If given a chance I wish to be reborn as a woman!!
