| Sumeru, Yes even i would like to meet and thrash that husband of hers.InRajasthan in the Aggarwal and Khandelwal families,Dowry is first talked about, which is very sad really, as the brides are educated in colleges, and they are married on the basis of dowry even to this day.I feel very sad at this mindset , in this 21st century. | Aruna, I agree with u 100%.It is the husband's duty to take care of his wife.He should clothe here and deck her with Jewellery, and not depend on her earnings and Dowry to run his household. In such cases, the girl should be allowed to choose her own partner,of her choice where there is no dowry involved, whosoever he may be. Thanks and regards.kamal |
