Default The Indian Marriage Law How Far Is It Friendly For Us Now

Yesterday happen to see Jodha Akber,

Wonderful movie, well directed and the our Hrithik has done justice I must say to the role, we are so used to fat men depicting historic films it was a great change and of course the most beautiful aishwarya, that she is, presented a strong personality as far as the queen was concerned how they earned each other’s respect is something unique to be
Seen to realize how it was gone about.

The queen placed two points before agreeing to this alliance one is she will want her Krishna installed inside her chamber and no restriction on her praying there and the other is she would follow her own religion and if this could be conceded then she would agree to the alliance.

It is beautiful to see Akber agree to this not only to respect a Queen’s wish but also to bring about a unity in Hindustan, so that all will live in peace.

Akber was illiterate, and the queen an enlighten one is sure a great plus point for him, the way he could marry a rajput to bring India together and abolish the TAX for pilgrimage for hindus which brought about a great revolution in the Indian scenario…..

Now those were the days, now look at the present scenario, sanjay dutt and manyata get married and they say it is invalid, as either manyata should convert to Hinduism for this marriage to be valid, haven’t we narrowed on the issues, aren’t the law in India supposed to be working for a secular India or is it just in words where the people in India do not get their dues, the wrong laws laid out for the benefit of none.

Each individual has a right on his own to follow the religion of his choice and no two people coming together should be brought under one religion. India has been a secular land and the kings who ruled over her for decades made amends to bring about harmony and now what do we see? And how did these law change and when did they change, or is it valid to keep them now that no one is going to follow it..

A law that can endorse living together and having children giving them the right of heir failed to touch the base by abolishing all this conversion for union of two human being, it is more so in India which has wide variety of culture and religion and if all should live in harmony the least a law could do is to amend things suitable for the present condition..

They are still fighting the law for dalits which started many years ago because of the veda’s where they were considered as shudras not born but created a clan for those jobs and now these laws of conversion will take a round about turn with people not bothering to even register marriage but live together and have children in India and may be this is the solution people will opt for more.

Now where does the marriage institution stand in this regard just in law and paper, which need be considered or to be adhered too...sunkan
