How Many Of You Have This Counting Habit

The counting habit:
How many of you have this habit of counting.

Sometimes we count the number of slices going into an onion
Sometimes we count the number of the vehicle in the front
Sometimes we calculate the no of advertisements and their repeats,
Sometimes we love to count the bananas and then buy,
Sometimes we love to count the flowers in the string of flowers given to us
Sometimes we count the coconut tree in a farm before the train could move further
Sometimes the no of stations from the beginning to the end when in day journey
Sometimes the no of bogies attached to the train as it is going
Sometimes the no of flowers given in a bouquet
Sometimes the no of dots in a kolam on a road
Sometimes the no of petals in a flower
Sometimes the no of bangles a woman wears
Sometimes the no of trees in a road
Sometimes the no of fountain lined up in a row
Sometime the no of boats in a river
Sometimes the no of plates set on a table
Sometimes the no of dishes in a party
Sometimes the no of scoops of different flavor on our ice cream


I could go on how many of you have this habit which I have…sunkan

Even i have this counting habit...

mostly the steps that i climb...i also have this habit of adding up numbers on the number plate of vehicles and also telephone numbers sometimes.....

I have the habit of couting the number of station in a journey and i love to count the number of steps that i have climed. the total number in the license plate on the vehicle going in front of me....hmm

counting...sure delays alzheimers.....

me----counting the steps, numbers in the number plates, counting the time till the favourite TV shows.....counting the vehicles behind me during signals.. counting the whistles to put off the cooker....counting the money to be taken to the stores...
counting rather waiting for the time to sleep...

i like ...............
counting the steps,
counting my sarees and churidhars
counting the no:of people in the q's
counting the pods in garlic
counting buses in the terminus
counting the tel.no, you know i also love to remember numbers than letters. but my husband says "what is the use of remembering only numbers, waste of time"
but i feel so proud that GOD has given me this talent
and lists go on...................

Hi Sunkan,
How about the number of blogs in a blogspace.... or the number of comments a blog invites!!!! Nice topic...

I do also count the number of cooker whistles, and also i do count the chapatis or rotis i make when i have guests at home or when i have to pack for travel, to make sure it would not be less.
