Basant ,adolescent girls & mothers

There is a poem by Famous Poet Sumitranandan Pant –“ Veero Ka kesa ho Vasant "
Today I wan to talk about –“Vasant (spring) of Young Adolescent Girls.
Vasant or spring which starts with Vasant Panchami that is today is celebrated all across India & since ancient times.
This is the time when nature is adorned with new flowers ,new beauty similarly adolescent girls are just on the verge of becoming young beautiful girls with so many dreams in their mind ,some secrets known, some unknown ,when innocence is mixed with awareness of something different happenings in their body as well as mind & environment.
They are curious as well as fearful as they don’t know more about the world but want to find out .On other hands their mothers become overcautious & worried. Mothers have to give some important information’s to daughters but may not be knowing how ,How much shud they tell ,their personal experiences ,fears anxiety mixed with daughters curiosity creating a confused environment.
To day Girl child is studying in coeducation, watching the world through their friends
(Ignorant eyes) eyes, through the misguided information through TV & movies. This is the age when mothers shud have some long talks with their daughters telling them the facts of life as well as making them aware that nature has a time for every step & hasty steps & half knowledge wither the flowers before they bloom like wise life has to unfold itself with not hasty unknowing steps but with well known facts & knowledge acquired over the years, with guidance of mothers specially.

They want to look beautiful, different & stylish But they shud be made aware that physical beauty is not the only scale in life, beauty with beautiful conscience is must.
They shud have a sympathy & awareness of others. Beauty shud not be vain.
It shud not give way to false pride, greediness, selfcentred thoughts.
Adolescent is the age when personality develops like in spring flowers blooms & as we care more for such flowering plants similarly we must take care to develop good characters in the girls in this age.
To day in cities the connexion with nature is not strong ,we don’t see much flowers ,fields full of wheat & mustard fields, not much mango trees with new grown Manjaries & association with nature is not that strong .Actually Nature teaches us so many things if we watch it .Like unripe flowers & fruits need to be ripe before they become fully useful ,likewise this period in life is to inculcate the knowledge & wait for the right ripe time to take further steps in life & make life useful , aimful & fruitful.
We shud teach our adolescent daughters that u are Special than Ur counterparts, u have a special responsibility towards society .u can work in any field in life but have to maintain Ur dignity & strength.

i am a friend to my daughters and have seen to it they make it a point to seek me to share their thoughts, and a friend never jumps into the role of a mother of do's and dont's as much a person who remains a mother more than a friend, so the first move to any mother to get to know her daughter is for her to talk about her self and what she did during her youth and the mistakes can be well discussed and argued to help them out, they may banter but u can too..sunkan

Today most of the mothers are friend with thier daughters & not only mothers with do"s & don't.
This article was just comparing adolesent girls with nature around us & as nature helps in blossuming the flowers with all care like wise the mothers must nurture their adolasent daughters.

that is what i ameant, i am an open arm to them to share their innermost feelings with the nature, i am with them all the way, u know wht it is tobe all the way,
