What happens at 40 and 60 years of age?

When I asked my mom the same question about 60 years of age, she answered that, by this age mostly son or daughter would have married, so becomes like a ghost in the eyes of the in-laws or as they say 'the second childhood returns' with more adamancy on our part, may be that is the reason for this kind of proverb.

If we write only after we get to experience it will be impossible.
One thing came to my mind---that if we have to learn from our mistakes only, then this life time is not enough, so let us learn from other people's mistakes. what do you say?

I cannot wait for 2 decades because I might have developed the ghostly qualities (Personally think not to) and cannot accept what you write at that time.
Or maybe I would have completely forgotten about this thread itself, so common get to write your comments!

Some of the proverbs do have some message which helps us in our life.

glad to note that you got right in time to make others work 'perfectly'.
I also got to know the meaning of the saying -'haste makes waste' through my personal experience, eventhough it didn't cost anything 'costly'.

What is this!!! Then do you say reaching 40/60 is a mistake!!

Why do you say you would develop "ghostly qualities"?? I know you are sweet enough to develop that..May be, you might develop "ghostly features"...Who knows...Lets wait..

Ghosts will be awake at night(personally I don't believe in ghosts)-PAY RAATHRI THAAN NADAMAADUM!
After 60 sound sleep at night will be difficult and some ppl will 'nada(na?)maadify I guess.
