my poem to my daughter prido

dear prido,
may you have the most colorful life ahead and
u wish never the journey to end,
the shades i have spread is but only a few
of the millions you are to view,
may you have flowers and stars laid
on your pathway of life,
may you grow wings to fly through
your dreams, and see
it is actually a reality to be,
may you wonder each year as you pass by
what it is to have lived like a thunder
lightning and bright splash through the sky
making nature think this imp is so mean,
putting us to shame with all her name
glowing as ever may u live with fame....mom
