Hi All,

My Little one is celebrating her 3rd Birthday by Jan 2nd week and she is a die hard fan of Dora the explorer telecasted in Chutti Tv....

and i wish to surprise on her day with a Decorated cake exhibiting her cartoon character and also wish to buy her some of the products shown in the same .

Can someone help me out with the Bakers & Shoppers place where i could reach the same.

You can check out Hot breads in Cathedral Road for cakes with the cartoon character you want. They specialise in it. Lilliput on TTK Road, Spencers has Dora on clothes T-shirts, tops, jeans , skirts.Check out shoppers stop, lifestyle, globus, westside. All of them have clothes to capture the fancy of the young ones, landmark also has a nice range.
Masala Bread on Bawa Road, depends on where you live, if you can tell me I will give you the numbers of the people you can contact.

and no clues of any shopping areas in here for Dora's costumes as so.but i havent checked at Velachery .

Last year, i picked out hanuman, spiderman t-shirts from rmkv for my son. but i feel liliput would be a better option to check out.

and regarding the cake, i think mcrenetts, has opened a branch in adambakkam beside/near the royal book shop adambakkam, side lane of the flyover...check out if they can do it for you, and since they are near it would work out better, since it is hot and you will not mess up the icing...

You r most welcome. I have tried Lilliput for my older daughter. Powerpuff Girls stuff. It was really good. Many people bake at home in Chennai. But the contacts I have are all in the city. Will try and find out people around your area.

Hope you both have been a regular Spectator of the show . Shreya my daughter needs the back bag .....and iam puzzled .could i really find something like that on earth. and she opts for the ....Kulla Nari... wolf..........Sometimes i feel quite jealous of these small ones........Too many things are there in their small little world making them feel like heaven. even we would have stayed young ......:)

For the bag, check out bag mall..(roshan mall ) in tnagar or witco...you may get it there....

Children fall in love with some characters...my neighbour's daughter is 18 months and she has oswald,daisydee, and almost all characters as toys..

I think u can the items mentioned in the site in Pondy Bazzar itself (opposite to Naidu Hall).

But u can get dora hanky in Tnagar it seems, but i don't know the shop exactly. Just i will let u know, if i get the details.
