Evening College

Evening College they say
A college where we stay
For four hours in a day
For employees who im higher pay

At six everyday strikes the bell
At six thirty classes will be full
Lecturers complain poor attendance
Students of their appointments

A galaxy of students we see inthe class
Young and old boys and girls all in the class
Many lending ears to the lectures
And some already in their fixtures

Education though second to their work
Evening studentsnever take a risk
With morning work, evening noplay
Evening students always gay
With eyelids heavy and eyes red
Late in the night they think of their bed

With all the above and something more
Evening college always in the fore
