| Dear Sundari, Sorry for being late to this thread. But later thought better late then never. Here it goes, my nose ring story. When I was studying in class III my maternal aunt suddenly passed away and we went to chennai, as our summer holidays also started we were camping in my granny's house. One of long standing friend had come for dukham vicharikarthku, she saw me and asked my mom whether we can pierce her nose (this was told to me later) and my mother had also secretly agreed as she had already made a small nose stud (with a tiny pearl in the middle) in bangalore. This lady was the family piercer, she had pierced my mom's both nostrils and my aunty's single side. The dday was chosen and the lady broke a piece from the stitching needle and peirced my nose. I was cry & shouting very loudly....she left the needle in the nose itself. After 15 days, she again changed the same to the humble brrom stick.........again my howling. Logic behind the change was the hole would become bigger so that a nose stud will be easy to put. After coming to Bangalore, my mom changed the same into the stud. I was totally confused whether I was looking good or not. But still it remains but promptly replaced with a small diamond stud... My younger dd loves it and she is been pestring from the age of 3 and my elder just cannot stand the same. But I left the choice to them...maybe after few yrs let them decide.
