    Thanks for dropping in ma'am......
    Yes ma'am...., as you have pointed out, She had respect and awe for Thiruvalluvar's Thirukkural.....but, her works were simple and easily understandable even to a little child......
    As our Mindi has said, she was way ahead of her times......
    I agree, her advice has fallen on deaf ears......may be, as a child we read her works...and try to apply what could be applied at that stage....and later many never go back again and re-read.....
    For example....."Undi surukkudhal Pendirku azhagu".....roughly translated......"Diet control adds beauty to a maiden"...:hide:...How true.......:)
