The relation with our mother is 9 months more

Out of all the relations we make in our journey of life till our last breath, the relation with our Mother is 9 months more.

Everyone knows that noone can take the place of a mother. But still there are mother in laws who treat their daughters in law as their own daughter. Usually the eldest daughter in law of the house takes the place of a mother and her sisters in law and brothers in law are very attached to her because she gives the love of a mother and very caring.

But now a days due to job children go abroad and the mothers miss their children very much especially during old age the parents need their children with them. I have two, three friends who are staying alone as their husband is no more and their children are abroad. They dont want to leave their home and go and stay with their children abroad.

A child till the age of 5 years require their mother's attention but in today's generation the mothers are working mothers. Though they are at work their mind is fully at home. Some have good person to take care of their children and some havetheir parents or in laws to take care.

Hundreds of dewdrop to greet the dawn
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn
But only one mother the wide world over

I agree aunty....children being away from parents during old age.....we too miss not being close to parents.....and parents have their own reservations...to go with their children.......atleast these days, we call daily....chat.....with parents....some how to fill the distance.......
Yes, upto 5 years, mother's undivided attention and unlimited love to a child is what that makes a child and mother happy.......

I became a mom recently. My baby is 5months old. I love my Amma very much. So true whatever you have said.i am really blessed to have a wonderful amma.

Yes,Viji.I love my mother very much and cannot forget all the sacrifices she had made for our well being.

But,often I have to give importance to my MIL who has not done a single thing out for love for me .(oru aani kooda pudungalai.).

What to do?This is the condition of 90% married women.Luckily,my mother is staying with me and I will take care of her in her old age.Now,she is 50 and active.I am talking about years to come.
