Friendship

• A good friend can tell you what is the matter with you in a minute.
  
• Without friends no one would choose to live, though he had all other goods.
  
• A friend who turns into a enemy has never been a friend.
  
• A faithful friend is the medicine of life.

Dear Reenae,

It was a nice post. We can like many people Reenae but do not expect all of them to be friendly with you. I had believe like that but was disappointed.

Friends should have same wavelength so that they can understand each other. Only then the friendship will get strengthened.

Friends are the best one can have. You can choose friends. Don't think I am advising you. I am not . this has been my experiance.

Nice one... A friend in need is a friend indeed... I have seen both types of friends... Friends who have helped me a lot and friends who have ditched me... A true friendhip emerges, when there is no expectations... When we start expecting, then the disappointment comes in... Dont expect, accept things as they are... Dont probe... Accept at the face value... Then friendship suvives...

Even those who cheat on you, also will feel bad, once he understands that you really believe in him and accept him as he/she is...

These are absolutely my personal opinion and experience....

Nice post on friendship. I am reminded of the Tamil sayings 'Moozhkatha shipe frienship' (The ship that never sinks is friendship). 'Uyir kaapan thozhan' (friend is one who will give his life for you). For me, friends are more than my relatives and I wish my relatives are more friendly towards me. Of course, friends may part and go to far off place and may never come across again. But, blood relatives come with us since birth and they are there for good or bad till the end. About father and son relationship there is a Tamil saying 'Thozhuku minjinal thozhan' (If your son has grown up then he becomes your friend).
