Dear Sundari,
I saw Chitvish's recipe and made seven cup sweet.
Method:
Besan or maida, grated coconuts, milk ,ghee one cup each and sugar three cups.total 7 cups, right?
Now mix all in a kadai and heat. Keep on kindifying till it becomes slightly hard.Coat a plate with ghee, pour this and make pieces.I added cahewnuts and two spoons of milk powder also.Other than the ingredients vanilla essence or chocolate powder can be added according to one's taste and liking.
My Diwali marundu became very hard, so I added boiling water to it and made it as paanakam.........."ORU LEHIYAM PAANAKAM AANADU"
