ya thats true...thu saturday sunday...anyday is fine...they did have those fasts ...nowadays we tend to think it is only for religious people and avoid all fasts to feast....!
sure nice to go on fruits...it is quite common in our household to go on fruits....this write up was just devil in thinking...!

Its just that you respect the Annapoorna devi and the lady of the house and give her rest for one day. I was just joking, dear. I thought one could understand that from my post.

I told you na, when I was in Calcutta for 5 years, they were staying upstairs . They had called me many times to go there. Have been very friendly with them. I learnt to make phulkas from them only.

Their kitchen was always spic and span and I used to envy their kitchen at that time because I could never do that with two small kids in hand and only a part time maid.

Hello Satya,

It was her birthday that day. It was she who invited us there and asked us to stay the night.
Anyway this weekend they are coming here so it is Gujju day for them .
My daughter is coming today and have been busy with that. That's why late reply.
