Hello ilites , we are planning to visit dubai on the way from India to USA.decide to buy gold in dubai.I need some information regarding gold purchase. 1.Which shop is good and reliable to buy Gold? 2.do they accept american VISA card? 3.which payment is opt ? credit card / dollars / dirham. Hi You could look at Damas for brand n Joylukkas is another big seller of Indian designs and has a number of stores in the UAE besides other players available in Meena Bazaar & Gold Souk Deira Do bargain , before you buy , check with other shops. All major cards are accepted ,However American issued cards charge a foreign transaction fee for purchases made outside US U may get good rate in Currency Coonversion prefrably Money exchangers in the city.Currency conversion at hotels is least favourable.
