I went to Karama today and was very happy to see all those churidhars and salwars, skirts.....I have also seen in Lulu. Which is the cheapest and best place to buy?

Where do you people buy your diwali dresses? Which shop? Suggest me some good place to buy regular casual clothes not very expensive and also for my daughter for diwali?

hi Bala,

If you go to lulu dept store , karama, you get good indian dresses, even meena bazar(north indian/sindhi's fav shopping spot) in burdubai is a good shopping area only, in those shops itself if you ask for tailors they'll guide you, some shops have their own tailors

Behind Lulu there is one Karama Centre . You get everything there --- garments for all, jewels, toys, books ; all stores in the complex are good. Depending on your choice of designs and budget you can purchase. But can get crowded during festival time, so shop early eve. or in the morning itself.
Also the famous Sunrise Restaurant is there -- so can shop, eat all under one roof.

Hi,
Can anyone help me find a store with rubbermaid products her in Dubai or Sharjah. I would like to buy on of the outside storage box from Rubbermaid. (to store our seat cushions).
I saw a good one in Ace but the price was CRAZY. More than 130% expensive than in the US. I think they are trying to rip us off.
Any other store who carries the outdoor stuff from Rubbermaid and more reasonable prices?

Hi All,

To shop for Indian clothes you should definately visit SHARJAH.All the shops are are in one location so it becomes easy to choose.The shops are located in Rolla,behind Pizza Hut.Consider this just as a starting point.It is a must visit place with all the Clothes shop,craft shop,tailor shops and all the clothing accessories.Do go into the small footpaths to get the best.Don't forget to Bargain.They will surely give discounts.
