Hi all Indus Ladies, Where can I get good embroidered party wear sarees and silk sarees in Bangalore for affordable rate? Thanks Karthi
Hi Karthi, There was a discussion on saree shops in the Bangalore Forum sometime back. Check out this link http://www.indusladies.com/forums/bangalore/17102-wedding-shopping-in-bangalore.html#post189201 Hope you get the info you are looking for. Cheers, Sonalika.
Karthi, I think, for designer sarees, Deepam on M.G. Road is quite popular. Otherwise if you follow the link I gave you, there is mention of some ladies who do exclusive work on sarees from their homes/ small shops. It would be worthwhile to check them out. Happy shopping....Let us know what you finally chose. Sonalika
Hi Sona, Thanks for your reply. And another one. My neighbour wanted to buy plain sarees (tussar silk, georgete, crape silk, and bangalore silk) where can I get them in Bangalore in whole sale rate? Thanks
Hi friend I just wanted to know your shopping experience in Chikpet.Though I have been married for 9 years I am illiterate about saree shopping. Now I am going to India so thinking of getting some party wear sarees. Is bargaining necessary for Chikpet shopping.Do they reduce rate if you bargain?(I am poor in that section). I checked the prices of sarees in some sites just to get an idea about sarees & prices. Is the rates high in sites? Is there any difference between crepe & crepe silk or is it the same.Sorry for asking lot of questions. Please suggest some shops with reasonable rates. (I am going to India after 4 years & I dont have anyone to take with me for shopping so need to be aware of things)
