Where do you buy groceries in Abu Dhabi?

    Dear all,

    I think each of us go regularly to a particular shop to buy grocery, vegetables etc. So please share which is your favourite shop in Abu Dhabi to buy groceries, fish, vegetables, fruits etc. and WHY?

    To start, I buy everything from Lulu Express (Al Raha Mall) except fish that I buy from Mina Fish Market. The reason behind going to Lulu Express is less crowded, no parking problems & I get everything that I need (grocery, food stuff, vegetables, fruit fresh coconut, dairy items etc). And moreover, it is not very large like Mina Co-op. So I finish my buying in less time.

    My second choice is Lulu (Khalidiyah Mall)

    I do agree with kashly i also go for LuLu express (Al Raha mall) and Lulu Khalidhiya Mall ...At times to Mina market for fruits and vegetables ....some specific indian spices i prefer Al adil ..

    Hi,

    Ya Lulu KM is a convenient choice. Another option for fresh fruits and vegies is the "Vegetable Market" behind Madina Zayed. There are shops run by Irani vendors and the quality is quiet good. Even parking is not a hassle and they are always ready to load the stuff in your vehicle.

    worth giving a try.

    thanks Blumen for your reply. I did not know Veg Market in Madina Zayed. I would like to try them. Please give me their exact location and landmark if any.

    hi Kavitha,

    direction is pretty simple actually...you know the entrance for MAdina Zayed...DONT take the turn there...proceed further a bit and on that same road you will come across the sign for "Vegetable Market" on the right hand.. ..enter there and you will find it.

    You will actually find the difference in green vegetables like Okra and spinach.
