Default Basic Oven-For Baking-Your suggestions

Hi,

Since long time, planning to get an oven for baking cakes and other stuffs...Looking for a normal day-to-day use basic models rather than the huge and heavier..First thing is there is no space for big-size electronics in my kitchen..Secondly i am gonna use it once in a month or twice in a month..So require your inputs for this purchase..

Any brands preferably??

Showroom Options??

Approximate Rate??

Should i wait for year end sale(new yr sale) and discounts??? Are they worth waiting?

Cindhu,
I got an OTG oven for Baking and Pizza making. The brand is Murphy Richards got it from Vasantha and Co in T.Nagar (the big shop just before you climb the Bridge near Kodambakkam junction). The capacity is 28 lts and the cost was 5k. Not sure if there will be price reduction for Murphy brand...Not sure about other brands. Hope this helps.

hmm.. It will be bigger than a regular micro oven... in terms of height and the width... Not able to give you an exact/rough measurement :( You can get an idea from either the Vasantha and co or the Viveks...

Cindhuja, you get smaller sizes. I guess the range starts from 14lts. So it is better to check it out at the store. I got my morphy richards oven from viveks. Like Ivarada, I too got a 28 lt :) Not much of a discount for morphy richards (got mine during pongal).........dont know about other brands.
