Urgent : Daily wear sarees in velachery,chennai

Hi all,

Need to purchase few daily wear sarees today itself..Not looking for hi-fi or new patterns..this is to gift few ladies for this diwali..Ranging around 250-300 each.

Could somebody suggest me good shops in and around velachery and adyar other than stores like Naihaa,Naidu Hall and Nalli...

Sure gonna try in Naihaa..But not confident whether they stock sarees in thsi range..So looking for more options..Cannot go to T.nagar..so require your help

Are there any normal shops like the one we see in P.bazaar and T.nagar ?!?!?!??!?!

Cotton house Tiruvanmayir stocks those range (200 to 500) of varaities... When you start from tidel towards Tiruvanmayur you can find this shop..

Hot chips is next to it... It will be on the main 4 road crossing itself..

Iam here.We purchased a nice saree for our maid(Price rs.230) from Naiha(Near Rex fashions,Velachery..)They stock some good collections in your range.We were looking out for something less than 250.They do have goodsarees in between 250 and 300.I dont get the difference between naidu hall & naiha.

Hence gave the landmark too.

Thanks a ton for your inputs..My friends too have told about that shop..but never knew they had sarees..Traffic is too heavy in that area, so will try my level best to reach them else will update..Thanks again.

By the way the one near Rex is called "Naihaa" and the small shop opposite to TCS is "Naidu hall"

Sorry for the late reply Cindhuja... Somehow missed your post... Saw one shop named "Saree Day" in the Velachery Bypass road... Didn't look too fancy from outside... its close to the Flamingo restaurant...Haven't been to the shop.. just had a glimpse as and when I travel via that way... let us know what and from where you got..
hmm... didn't knew about this cotton house Brinda... and thanks to RG...didn't knew that Naihaa had in such ranges....

Naihaa has gud sarees in the range of 150-250 though they have repeated patterns. Ideal for gifting. Check that out. You get decent sarees within 250.

Hi RG,

.. Just shopped and came back..They had so many sarees ranging below 300/- .. Too good...I picked one lavendar shade..pretty decent ..Attached blouse too..Costed me 280/-..After billing noticed 2 sarees costing just 247/-

..I had no other go..Anyways since it looked very decent i didn'y worry much
