Default Potly sarees or partly sarees??

Hi all,

Heard that for diwali a new style is in-rounds..My friend mentioned it as potly..that is 2 shades with a different design in the upper portion and a different design in the lower half..Not sure whether it is Potly or Partly or something else

Any guesses??

Cindhuja,

It is called patli pallu sarees. When worn it will look like a half saree.

My friend said it is in all leading stores..When i visited Paalam silks one lady was yelling Patli saree..Patli saree...But i was not aware about it then..now i feel like

Yesterday i enquired in Old nalli ..They said that model is available in silk sarees alone...And not in other materials..

I prefer them in silk cotton and designer's rather than in silk

HI friends,

I feel so envious on seeing all these threads. Looks like everyone is kalakifying the festival by choosing colorful & soundful sarees, good, enjoy..

Coming to my query, yes., was watching SUN TV talking about the sarees which has the paayal sound & with lighting, is it really worth to buy and what range it will come and from which shop can we buy? As I live in NJ, can ask my parents to go and see for it. Not sure if Diwali releases will be available during normal seasons too like June/July.

Yr immediate responses would be greatly appreciated and also be grateful to you.

Thanks so much.

Enjoy the festival!!

Rama.
