Help me with suggestions!!

Dear friends,

I need three things from you.

1.I need a restaurant for dinner(No specific budget) in and around Adayar,Guindy,Saidapet.Dinner is for a couple.Good SI or NI cuisine .

2.Need a good bakery/restaurant to get a birthday cake.I recently had a birthday cake(during my wedding anniversary) in one of the star hotels.The cake was awesome.It just melted in mouth in no time.I dont know what flavour it is and what cream it is made up of...I want the similar one.

3.Need a gifting idea for DH's birthday.

Help me out friends.

Bakery :-

I love Hot breads cake.. But it depends on the flavour.. Black forest will be good ..Bit expensive from the regular flavors..Cakes and Bakes - Nungambakkam also has wonderful cakes...

1) Restaurant - Rain Forest. it is opposite to standard charted bank near adyar signal. It is a theme restaurant, the interiors are designed to resemble a forest.

2) My vote is for Cake World in Adyar near the telephone exchange.

3) For gifts how about a good perfume?

1) My DH recently took me to a returant in ECR, excellent romantic place..
Like a candle light dinner i am sure u will love the place... But since u said u are specific in those areas i am not mentioning... If u still need let me know i will tell u...

2) Mocha ?? i am not sure about the spelling but u can give a try when u order...

3) Dono what are all the things that u already presented.. my suggestion is personalized gifts with name / photo engraved...

If @ all you are planning to get a cake for your husband's b'day, my suggestion is -

Book for a surprise dinner in a star hotel and order a b'day there itself..

Can enjoy a romantic candle light dinner and also cut the cake

My suggestion is Rain Tree and Accord

We had been to Rain Tree and cut a cake last year.Needless to say,the cake was awesome.Made up of fresh cream....OMG...

I had been to Rain forest too.It was a good experience..

Actually i forgot the restuarant name thats why didn't post it that time..
Now I called my DH and asked.. It is Kipling cafe...
If u google it , the place is not that easy to find but i will tell u the route

In ECR road u can find Sholinagnallur police booth rite, (where the will be a road connecting to OMR).. Next to the booth in the left hand side u can find a small road.. May be one big car & small car can go... The resturant is at the end.. But there wont be any board or any signs for you to say that there is such a wonderful resturant there.. I can give 100% for the ambience and 75% for the food..
They have few varities only but most of them serves 2.. We should order one person minimum of 250rs.. When u place order check with them whether it serves 2 or 1.. but very limited Veggie items.. All continental dishes....


It was run by foreigners, a lady greeted us..
