Different Restaurant?

Hi friends,

Its my DH's B'day next week and I want to take him out for dinner.. we have visited many many restaurants together.. tis time I want to go to a new place.. Can you please suggest a new restaurant serving good food?

some popular ones that we have already been to are Rain Forest, Eden, Kabab Court, Kabab Factory, Rain Tree, Palki, China Town, Karaikudi, Angappar and its kind and few more like these.. Please suggest other than these.. Also I heard of Crimson Chakra.. anyone been there? Do they have A la Carte?

Other than this Tandoori Tadaka in T.Nagar seems to get good reviews!!
Is there any specifc area you are looking to go??

You can try Accord in Tnagar.. go to roof table... Will be good for a dinner..
I am sure u will enjoy..

any area is fine other than beyond Coyembedu or towards chetpet / Kilpauk.. More towards T.Nagar, Kodambakkam, Nungambakkam, Cathedral Road, Adyar, OMR will be good.

Ashvita is not new. It has been there for years. They have bought in a new menu. A laid back place right on RK Salai. I felt it was more of a coffee-snack joint than a dinner place. On Accord, Pergola is the place. Have not been there personally, but heard it is too windy and food is just as everywhere. Crimson does have a la carte. And if ECR is fine, drive to GRT Temple Bay. Their beachview restaurant is amazing. Also, if not yet tried visit Kokum. If noise is okay, BBQ nation. Tandoori Tadakka is on NUsman Road. Right next to Joy Alukas. Pretty average, not so great options for veggies

There are two resturants in roof.. (i think 12 or 13 th floor - not sure)..

One for buffet and another one we can order by ourself..
Price it is expensive like star hotels thats all..
But very good atmosphere for a dinner, you can view the full Tnagar from the top , all glowing lights, breeze..

Try GRT Grand. It is really good!

I meant the new menu at Ashvita and that it has been a coffee shop and not a restaurant!!
