Can we request them to make 1 gram gold jewellery with our designs or is it readymade ones only? i have few strings of beads, so wanted to make some thing with it.

any idea where to go for it?

You can go to Tara's Jewellery on Kutchery Road to buy one gram gold jewelley.They also set your beads and any other precious, semi-precious stones in the pattern you want.

I can give names for my area ... Adyar ... there is SRS Thanga Maaligai which has a good collection and Narayana Pearls .. maybe Balaji Thanga Kadal too ( not too sure tho )

Narayana pearls , pandi bazar......shridevi gold covering , t. nagar....even if u go around ranganathan street u can find so many shops......whenever i go to chennai i used to roam around ranganathan street, t.nagar, pandi bazar for shopping...

you can find good collection of 1 gram gold jewellery at jhilmill, pondy bazaar,you must check it out.Narayana pearls and many shops in kasi arcade too have good collections .There are many shops in the mylapore tank area,small shops ,no fancy showrooms, but do have great designs.You can find temple jewellery made in 1 gram gold in this area.bye for now.hope you find some good stuff.regards.manju

hi, go to sukra in mylapore , thats the best place to buy one gram gold and the quality is good too ......other places like narayana and other r also ok but here most of us ppl do the shopping and i myself have shopped many times and send it too to my relatives in US
