Where to get my Engagement Saree

Friends,
I'm going to get engaged on Sept 4th. Can you suggest me where can I get the D day saree in chennai? Obviously its pattu saree. I'm not going to invest much on saree. So, looking for an affordable one.

Congrats!! You get beautiful Pattu sarees for even 2K in Nalli and Kumaran. I shopped all my wedding pattu sarees in Old Nalli and Kumaran only.It was superb! I felt Old Nalli has more traditional sarees to suit the occassion and i liked it there.

Chennai silks , Pothy and RMKV have latest designs for 3K- 4K around with minimal jari work, bead work etc.

Congrats and hearty wishes dear. I too agree with aishu. Nalli is the best choice and particularly Old Nalli. Inspite of the quality and cost there is another plus. Mostly experienced people alone are engaged as salesman in silk saree counter especially in wedding saree counter, so they will clearly advice you which is worth buying. We are very much used to that shop and have never found any drawbacks.Me too got in Old Nalli for my Engagement and Marriage. And it has become like a tradition in our family.

Also check Kumaran silks and new nalli.

congrats and wishes to u Uma.
Try in kumaran stores nearer to LKS gold house.
there u can get all varietes and in one color u can get around 20-25 sarees there.
if u want to shop here u want to chk it out in monday till wednesday.
if u move ther in week ends new arrivals will be not be there.
