Good madisar saris are available in all the leading textile shops like Nalli, Kumaran, Raasi,Pothys and RMKV. For good Kanchipuram Silk Madisar Raasi, Nalli, Hayagrivas and RMKV are better. U will get not only 9 yards saree but 10, 11 and 12 yards for tall and well built ladies. Regards uma |

| Hi, I guess you can try for 9 yards of the silk cotton variety in Prashanthi at CIT Nagar, just behind the Sankara Hall at Alwarpet. The material looks just like silk but lighter and the dazzle is so good. It can be washed at home too. |

| One more outlet for silk cotten 9 yards sarees in "Ishwarya" in Arcot road, T.nagar, behind Krishna sweets. They have a good collection suited for both young and old. The price is also moderate. Jaya Mohan |
