| Hi Indu, Since u have not given the locality, based on your profile i suppose you are in SFO(sanjose, ca). Ok, based on my experience i would recommend stores like mervyns, ross & kohls. ROSS - they have too many varieties and are really cheap; quality though not class we cannot complaint. MERVYNS - go there @ times of any discount or sale. It happens often so no worries keep checking the local advt or website.I suppose for july 4th there should be big sale. KOHLS - Very good store, bit costly than mervyns sale pdts and ross, still quality is good and the design patterns are also pretty. I havent been to Sears or JcPenney but have heard it has good collections and the price range is also bit high comparitively. |

| hi Indu, In chennai you have too many options.First choice is Naidu Hall. Also check Flora quite opposite to it. Sri Krishna has a wide variety too. Other than this, the platform shops in P.bazaar too have many collections @times. In Mylapore luz corner pretty women and the nearby shops have some good stuff. I dont opt Globus, since the price is bit high, but many of my friends get from globus both in P.bazaar and Adyar. RMKV has too many models. Not sure about skirts but tops and kurtis are good there. If u go to purasaiwalkam quite opp to abi.mall there is a plaza there you can find 2 or 3 shops. Hope this helps.Happy Shopping. |

| Hi Indu: You get some lovely cotton skirts in Cotton world Corporation- they have an outlet on Khader Nawaz Khan Road. There's a nice store called Gurlz right opposite to CWC and they have some dressy and exquisite clothes including skirts. I am a big fan of Pantaloons- they have an amazing collection. I've to admit their collection in Chennai is not as big as in Mumbai, but I'm told they've a new store in Nungambakkam High Road and it's definitely worth a try. They've an ethnic range called Akritti marketing a lovely collection of ethnic skirts- both short and long. Have fun- let us know your feedback after you've shopped.
