Dear aishu,
kitchen weighing scale is available in "karimboys" in adyar just near the avin roundana. it is located in between sankara school lane and avin roundana. It is also available in murugan stores in adyar located in between the stretch from adyar signal to sastrinagar/telephone exchange signal.

you can also get the same in ratnastores in t nagar.

i don't remember the exact rate , but somewhere around 250 - 300 rupees.

the cost varies from 20 to 500+. in karimboys they have imported ones too which can measure p to 5 kg.. it is about 500+
