That's gud at last u visited Mother's Kitchen........so u had great time there........that's nice...............I think about Saravana Bhavan, people are telling that it is going to come for the past 2 to 3 years............but really don't know when it is going to come.........lets wait and c..........

I just went upto nanmangalam...so checked out ..it could be near the ramaniyam govardhan...that is coming up.. it can t be spencers.puzhuthivakkam...the road expansion, sona electricals some space in rajparis flats are all going to be hit..the highways has issued notice..some say even pathala vinayagar temple will be hit...not sure...draupadi amman and the other vinayagar temple also goes...the old existing highway mark has been revised...it is al most 30ft/40ft. on that side and 10ft on this side of the road..so totally the road become 100ft..but by the time it is over we are surely going to be with no alternative roads into gst...all the bylanes are going to be explored...

But Jeyachandran textiles construction going at full swing..maybe summer sale inaugration ????

It is true that its going to be for sometime till the road is widened. But after that it should become better for all the motorists........especially during the peak hours! I only hope none of the eat-outs get affected in the process

I tried my best to go through all the posts - may have missed some. But, has anyone spoken on Anna Lakshmi? Tried it? I would love to go there. Great it seems.

Also, good reviews i hear on Konganadu Rasam.Has anyone tried these?

i once dined in annalakshmi... opp to lic .but very costly...
think one ice-cream costs 100, deserts -200, ... etc... u knw but it was excellent....try to have ur dinner once in ur life time...if u wish.. y not v ....!!!:)

Yes, somebody did mention Annalakshmi( I don't remember who ). And as Ashu says, the food is supposed to be good but on the higher side. If you go there, do let us know your opinion of the place. As for Konganadu Rasam, I think this is the first time it is being mentioned here. If I go there in the near future, will sure let you know.

Rasam s very far from my area. It is near Vilivakkam.So IL'ites from tht area can visit. I heard in some parts of the world - in anna lakshmi one can eat and pay wht he wishes to. Is tht true? I know there s a restaurant in cbe like tht. Had food there once. It is also called anna lakshmi. also, is anna lakshmi a veg restaurant?

Also, i recently tried these out

1. Cream Centre - Great Food. Continental, Indian food. Around 250 per head.
2. Rangoli - of Saravana Bhavan - Once again, punjabi khanna - i think 150 for a buffet.
3. Cornucopia - Bit expensive. Around 350 per head, Good food
