Where to buy maternity clothes/Things in chennai?

Dear Ilites,
My cousin sis is 6 months pregnant.She has come down from US to India- chennai to visit us.Also her valaikaapu is scheduled on 30th Dec 07.

I wanted to gift her something..may be some maternity stuff like clothes or any other useful things.I'm not supposed to buy any thing for the kid as of now..(till its born).So only option is to gift my sis.

Please let me know hwere to buy maternity things tat wud be useful for her.

Please suggest a gift ideas as well as shops- in chennai.

You can check out Shanti's near Indira Nagar water tank . Naidu Hall, any branch,
Take a look at Ankur in Fountain Plaza for feeding nighties, feeding bras and other stuff.
Huge baby bags to carry stuff after the lil one is born,Tote bags, Hand bags in jute, they are in vogue now. For these you can check out Bally fab in Spencers.
As she has more time to go before the delivery, buy her salwars , trousers, tops.
For salwars (cotton) check out Fab India, or for synthetic ones you can go to Pothys, Nalli 100 or any place in T.Nagar.

Try out the MotherCare outlet in T Nagar...it has imported goods similar to those available in US stores (same brands)..has good toys as well as maternity clothes, nursing clothes, accessories etc.

Mothercare is before the Pothy's junction..
u cant miss the building...it has pictures of babies and books on the outer walls...the ground floor is mother care and top floor is a book store called Crossword...its a big building...

it Kuppu Arcade, Venkatnarayana Road, Near Panagal Park, you can't miss the building there is an ice cream shop nearby by the name freeze zone??? or something...
