Bangles

Friends,

This thread is exclusively for bangle lovers. I am love to put bangles. Starting from my college still in my office everybody will be asking "where do you get matching bangles?".

Usually, I will buy my dresses and will give for stitching. Only after getting mactching bangles for that dress, I will wear it.

I have variety of bangles at my home. I love wearing them

Previously I used to keep them arranged in bangle stand. Once my grandma brought me a bangle box made of cloth. It was very useful for me. To prevent from dust, I wish to keep bangles in such boxes. But I am not getting that nowadays.

Do anyone know or heard about such bangles boxes???? Where can I get that bangle box in chennai? Preferably in T.Nagar...

Please friends, suggest me where I can get that bangle box....
I am very much worried that my bangles are not stored properly.

Any bangle lovers in this site?????

iN MY ROOM i MADE TO ORDER A HUGE BANGLE DRAWER IN BOTTOM OF MY DRESSING TABLE.
yOU CAN GET BANGLE STAND SMALLER ONE AT TRUPATI OR EVEN CAN HAD AT THE REGULAR EXHIBITIONS HELD AT SANKARA HALL. .WHICH IS MADE UP OF WOOD IN A DECORATIVE MANNER.
yOU CAN HANG BANGLES BEFORE YOU PLAN FOR A OUTING AND AFTER COMING FROM OUTING READILY YOU CAN R EMOVE AND HANG.

About the bangle box, u will get it in parry's corner. I got it from their only. But as others told, u will get them easily in exhibitions also.

Viji - Thanks for your reply... I am have that woonden bangle stand at my home. But since bangles become dirty if I am hanging them in that stand. Now I have bought bangle box which is in a closed form... inside the bangle box you can find rows to hang them. I feel that will be a better way to store them. You can also try one like that.

Anitha - Happy to knew that you also love to put matching bangles. I usually buy them by taking my dresses along with me. I buy them in renganadhan street. Don't worry how to go into that crowded street. If you come from mambalam station into renganadhan street, you can find this shop easily. The shop name is "Gnanam". Fourth shop... They will arrange bangles for you based on your dress colour. Very good customer service. Go and visit.. Or else tell me when you are going, if I am free I will come for you......

Nice to know that there are so many bangle lovers. One of my friend had good and very big collection of bangles. She used to put the bangles in a hanger ( the one we use to hang out shirts and pants) and just hang them in one of her cupboards. So u need not have to spend much money on bangle stand and its visible too.

Just count on me.............Iam a freak of Bangles. From my college days till now, I wear bangles all colours matching with the dress. This trend has rubbed of to my kids also. I just love that clinking sound. Believe me when I was carrying my first child, because of my love for bangles, my parents did the ceremony of putting bangles in the 5 month itself.

If anybody has the photo of bangle box, please post it. How many bangles can we store in the box?

About Shop, i go to a shop called Ellora in POndy bazaar.....super service. they also, like tht Gnanam stores arrange and give in different budgets. super it is.
