Not sure if this helps or not...but...i have a hoover wind tunnel with a hepa filter. My oldest daught and i have severe allergies and this vacum cleaner seems to be doing the trick in picking up all those tiny allergens.

I don't have a dry/wet cleaning model so I can't help u there...but I do wish that sometimes I had a vacum that would suck up wet spills. Anyway, I would recommend this Hoover vac for anyone who has allergies...its GREAT!

Vivbass, my parents have Eureka Forbes (canister type of vacuum) for few years now. Its a dry vacuum, works wonderfully great. Good suction power. But it makes some noise while running. If you just ignore that then its a very good vacuum cleaner.

I'm not sure about wet ones. Are there wet vacuums in India these days? If you happened to find one, let me know. I might ask my parents to just buy one for themselves and not to depend on maid all the time

my parents have eureka wet/dry model for almost 8 years now.its wonderful
for marble floors. with ordinary mop, we can see white spots(water residue)after drying.
Euroclean leaves the floor completely dry and clean.

uma, its better than a maid. but my mother finds it difficult to move the unit with water.
