Default Coffee maker worthy of travel to India

Hi Everyone, after browsing for half hour in all threads I decided to start one as I cant do that for a long time..
If there is one already like this, I'm sorry please direct me there!

I'm going to India after 4 years of staying in the United states and would like to get something for my parents as gift!
My dad is a coffee addict :)
He wanted one of those coffee decoction makers from USA(to help my mom as hey health is so and so and she cant make filter coffee everyday)

My dad is the kind that never asks for anything and I want to get the best for him...
Is there any coffee or expresso maker in the USA that comes close to the filter coffee we make in south India?
And if not at least a decent one...
Pls pls pls help me I dont have much time :((

Thanks,

If you are looking for a coffee maker which makes south indian decoction like a coffee filter, go for coffee percolater. I purchased Preethi Dripcafe. You can see more details here: Preethi - Coffee Maker - Dripcafe
