Default Food Processor - Your Reviews

Hey Guys,

Recently, I decided to buy a FP after all the good things one can do using it. I always had this thought it was just a luxury and one can manage without it. But Chits yummu dishes make it so promising that I can not only use it to the fullest, but also make many dishes with ease.

So here I am. All the FP owners, please share your model, cost and your review.

Checking online is too intimidating. I might get some idea with your inputs !!

Thanks much !!

Hi Nandhu,
This is the one I have Amazon.com: Cuisinart DFP-3 Handy Prep 3-Cup Food Processor: Home & Garden

Actually I bought it couple of years back but never used it properly. After reading replies in another thread from AC madam and Chitvish madam I'm using it regularly to make Chappathi dough and vada maavu.

Thanks
Mangai

Nandu,

I have kitchen aid one Kitchen Aid 11 Cup Food Processor-Onyx Black - 498691-DO.
I use it for masala vada grinding and also kneading dough. I must say that the phulkas do come out softer than hand kneaded dough...

Only problem with me is sometimes I feel its easy to hand knead the dough as we don't have to worry abt washing the jars, blades etc:) I bought it from amazon 2 years ago..paid around $125 for this model.

Sihi

The Hamilton Beach and salad shooter have been with me for some time now. I use HB for large quantities for roti dough and vadai doughs. No motor heat issues. Don't have papers to check model as it is old. Will try to find it online and get back.
