    hi,

Planning to get a 2-wheeler very soon. Years back i had Scooty; the old model Scooty-ES, but now all r new. How gud is the new model Scooty-Pep or Pep+. Many suggest me to go for Honda Activa coz of its resale value, reliability and mileage. Is it really better compared to Scooty? I'm worried about the weight. Will Activa be too heavy, meaning is it comfortable to drive and also while settling the centre stand? In scooty thats not a problem. Its really apt for ladies how about Activa and the rest?

Please share ur valuable suggestions about the suitable two wheelers for ladies and the pros and cons.Thanks.

    Hi Cinduja,

I drive Honda Activa and have no problems with it. Of course, earlier I was driving Kinetic Honda and hence I don't find this a big deal.

But my friend who drives scooty, finds Honda Activa heavy.

Yes, I of course have problem with the center stand....:)

But still feel Honda Activa is a lot better and apt for ladies!

    Cheers

    Hi

Honda Activa on road costs about 40K. Scooty I don't have an idea.

    Cheers

Aha....that's something I never keep track off.
I have a bad attitude - as long as my breaks work, wheels rotate.....bike moves forward am fine!...lol

i use scooty pep+ . it looks trendy but the disadvantage is it has the silencer very down and when ever we go thru speed breaker we need to slow down very much .. and if sum1 is our back then it is gng to touch definetly to it.. and ofcourse u knw wht hapens if silencer damages.. regarding other best features it has:
double lock- we can lock on either side of handle,
    light weight- easy to handle,
light in inner box- we have a emergency light will be useful in nyts,
    cell charger,
    cost 41k
    trendy colors..

if we talk regarding pickup pleasure is very gud.. i have driven personally..

hope my experience helps u.. :thumbsup

    Hi,
my niece bought a Scooty Pep+ 2 months back. It is good according to her, and it is easier to put the centre stand. I drive the older Scooty and so this Pep is even better for me. Honda would be heavy, I suppose. But choose according to your requirement. One of my friends' find the Honda heavy and could not drive for long distance. pep is 37k now.
