Hi Suji,

Are you from Karnataka ? Your name suggests that...!
As for the chopper, check out the link below. Choppers like that are available widely. In my experience, it does not do an excellent job though, its okay to chop small portions of veggies. But when dealing with a lot, hand chopping seems more hassle free! But that is my personal opinion.
On the other hand, I cannot do without my mandolin slicer/grater...it is great for salad veggies of course. Zyliss makes one I think.

Hello Kamla,
Yes,I am from karnataka.
Sujimallige is my favorite flower.
Thanks for the chopper suggestion.
I am still looking out in walmart, bed bath and beyond and other places.
I want to buy 1 which suits indian cooking. We dont eat salad at home so for me the salad variety wont suit.
Thanks again,
suji

I purchased a kitchen-aid food processor - 8 cup capacity which comes with attachments for slicing and shredding veggies. use this when cooking in large quantities for parties. I also have the kitchen aid mini food processor with a 3 cup capacity. you cannot use this for slicing just for chopping things like onions, tomatoes, squash, ginger, carlic, carrots etc. I also use both for kneading dough for chappatis, pooris and parathas.
