suggest gift idea which is quite educative or useful somehow

Hi all,

I have 2 younger brothers. One is doing his engineering and another one just completed his Engg course. As i am planning to go to india around October, thought of getting them something quite usefull rather than perfumes or dresses.

Someone please suggest me a gift which is quite educative or helpfull in their realtime life.

First year students require calculator.If he is doing hi B.Tech in electronics it will be useful thru out his studies.
u can give them cell phones as they might stay in hostels or some else,they will definitley like them if u give any new model.(though many r available in India)
ipod also good item.
or else u can present some motivative books if they r interested.we can get only too much popular books in India.
