I am truly amazed at the reception to your curtain raiser on SHE. Being a newcomer to IL, I have not had the pleasure of reading your earlier stories published here but seeing the fabulous welcome to her, SHE is sure to sweep everyone off their feet. Palpitating hearts, chewed up fingernails, time standing still fore many, April 28^th is a decade away for some, what a whipping up of emotions!

Being a storyteller, you know the right kind of language to employ in bringing out your stories alive and that is your great asset. Your warm and lucid expressions are very endearing. Need I say that you will now have a male, and that too one in his twilight zone, following SHE avidly! I have no doubt I have already met her in my long march through life but hearing about her would surely bring back my memories alive and aflame!

It is my singular honour that I have a distinguished writer among my readers this time. Makes me feel even more responsible.

The earlier stories were well received. But they were given when this site was small. Less than a thousand members and less than fifty actives.
But the inputs given by ILites made me refine the story line then and there. One of the stories published in this site has come out as a book in Tamil entitled
Manase Manase Kathavai Thira.

Dear ILites,

A few minutes from now I will be uploading the second chapter of SHE. Placing this story before your eyes, I feel like a mother who has married off her daughter.

And in those days you know the first comment the in-laws will have of the girl will pertain to her upbringing. If the bride does something amiss, her mil would say, "valarppu sariyillai" "not brought up well".

With the trepidation which is no less than what I had before posting the first chapter I am now bringing the second one to you.
