this is the patiala salwar that i stitched with the help of your draft. because it was my frist attempt to cut patiala style, i tried it with my old saree . i could cut this patiala and dupatta from the saree. with a white kurti the set looks very good. thanks a lot for the draft. did u get the anarkali draft ?

Oh wow Revathi, it looks like new. What comments did you get from your friends for this? It feels to good to wear what you have sewn, right? Anarkali may take some more time I guess. hi sunitha,

nobody believed that i sew it with my old Saree. they thought it was ready made. as i am a skinny person, patiala suited me very well, made me look little fat. my husband also appreciated my stiching. i tried out anarkali type by trial error method. i made the body part just like ordinary kameez till the waist part. from the waist i cut the umbrella cutting ( like we do for the skirt ) model. it looks ok, but i want the correct method. by the way i stay in pursawakkam.

i thnk u can try like blouse type on top till ur starting of waist and thn do half circle method....try once..
